Agricultural Contractors
Our Background
Our established agricultural contracting arm has expanded rapidly over the past few years with the purchases of large modern, efficient machinery operated by highly skilled staff. Available for hire at very competitive rates, operations vary widely, from ploughing to harvesting, and we’re specialists in sugar beet harvesting, combine harvesting, cereal drilling and fertiliser spreading.
Emphasis is given to timeliness and soil structure with large sums of money invested in large tyres, tracked combines and off set beet harvesters.
Our machinery
Our farm machinery range is updated and replaced frequently with what we deem to be the best available at the time. We have invested heavily in GPS guidance and bought an RTK base station and two tractor auto steer kits. These have helped us reduce costs and driver fatigue, as well as increase efficiency and accuracy.

Contract farming
The farm has a contract farming agreement with a large neighbouring farm since 2007 which works exceptionally well for both parties. Both farms benefit from economies of scale. The farm also has various contracting/land rental agreements with other local farms.
